Bernard's Solemnization: 3 JUL @ Raffles Hotel

Attended Bernard and Charlotte's solemnization at Raffles Hotel. It was a lovely solemnization and the couple was such a pair of good host.

The whole session was well-thought out. Charlotte DIY several things and added her own touches to the decorations. The theme of tiffany blue added a touch of class and it was very fitting for the venue. Her gown of victorian lace was also lovely.

Bernard being Bernard, provided his guests with a really good post-solemnization tea. It was almost like a mini wedding. Anyway, here are some photos and I wish them bliss and happiness!

Looking forward to their wedding in Jan! :)

Feather Pens and Ring Bearer (or holder) DIY by Charlotte

Program of the day, made into a fan. Very thoughtful because it was really quite warm. The fan came in handy. And again, handmade by Charlotte.

Looked so happy after the ring was put on

And now his turn - check out that expression

And the cert signed

Greeting everyone and showing off the marriage cert

Of course... Kiss the bride

DIY by Charlotte - Pens

Instead of the usual guest book, Charlotte used polaroid photos for guests to sign nex to their photos. Nice touch... because it is very often that after the wedding, we can't remember who actually sign on the guest book. Sometimes, worse - we can't read their handwritings.

That's us!

And Baby's bakery???

Sent this post to Bernard and he returned with the following photos. Thanks Bernard and Charlotte!

It's been such a long long time

I almost forgot I have a blog! It's all because I started a blogshop, otherwise, I wouldn't have realised my blog exist! :) Missed blogging so much. But the reality of life is... I had no time. I shall dedicate a little time a day to update this little personal avenue of mine.

We'll skip all the activities that happened during this hiatus period. Simply put, my life has been great since my wedding. The wedding went very well. Had lovely family, friends, brothers and sisters. Felt really loved. Post-wedding (marriage) is awesome.

Derrick is a really wonderful husband. We have our down times. But we are back to our loving moments very soon. Love him lots!!! :)

Started my blog shop... http://www.lamodashoppe.blogspot.com/ - all because I was inpsired by shopping. Haha. Friends who know me will know that I am a shopaholic. And since I've discovered the joy (and convenience) of shopping online, I've hardly shopped outside. Ok. Not quite true. I still do at my favourite outlets like Mango and BYSI. But, those are my once-in-a-while shopping trips.

What else? Oh yes. We moved office to DBS Tower 2. Was a little upset initially but have gotten used to it and kinda' likin' this place. Office is great. Just the location is not ideal. But heck! I am very close to Vivo City... *raise an eyebrow*. Haha.

All righty! I'll spend sometime updating my wedding photos and my blogshop photos! Till then...

Chamomile Tea @ Brozeit

Met my friends for dinner at Cedele and then proceeded to Brotzeit for drinks. I was too full and ended up drinking Chamomile Tea! Likewise for Iris. ;p

Hot Summer Collection Shoot

Photo shoots are fun! Tiring but fun. Thanks to the great team work that we were able to complete shooting smoothly with satisfactory photos. Thanks to Winnie and Sylvia for agreeing to model (and their dedication, professionalism and commitment). :) Thanks to Baby for being our photographer. Thanks also to Mario and gang for the studio. Finally, thanks to Celeste for being ever efficient.

Some behind the scenes photos for your viewing.

As usual, Winnie has a lot of facial expressions and now, waiting for her turn to shoot. Also a very dedicated and kawaii model.

www.lamodashoppe.blogspot.com

Somtimes, it's amazing how a tiny idea can transform into reality. That was what happened to me. It started with a "we can do it too". And within a short time, we have created a blogshop called Moda Shoppe.

Its inauguration is July 2010, Saturday at 11am. Tell me about being ambitious. But I guess having a deadline makes everything more efficient. So, here we are, getting all excited and ready for the big day! And a lot to do! :) But I'll keep my faith in the highest ONE above - my Lord, my God.
