Greetings from Sabah!!!

My gosh. How time flies! I am now sitting at the business centre of the oil rig resort called Seaventures typing this blog. And in about 30mins, we are setting off to go to Tawau to head back to KK. And very soon, the trip will end - my vacation will end. Kinda' can't bear for it to finish so soon! I am having so much fun scuba diving.

We started off this whole Sabah trip with a climb up Mt Kinabalu. It was a torturous journey - freaking scary too when descending and really killed my two legs despite my high level of fitness. It took me a week to recover! So, you could imagine how much help I needed when I was donning my scuba gears.

It was perfectly ok in the water. But on land, my legs hurt like crazy and I had no strength to support myself with all the dive gears on me. We went for massage twice just to get rid of the uric acid, which of course, did not help.

Anyway, I am glad to be well now. And the pains did not hinder my dives at all. We had a wonderful time scuba diving Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai, and not to mention the house reef at seaventures. We even organised our own little "shoot out" one day. We were so beat everyday because we woke up at 5am and by dinner time, we were all really tired. It was nevertheless really fun on this trip with Suz, Ray (had a lot of hilarious underwater miscommunications. I guess it was a Ray + Sotong problem.), Alex and Yvonne (really cute with her around - she attracted Giant Grouper at least).

Sipadan did not disappoint but it was really sad to see many dead corals. The fishes teeming the reefs also became lesser. I hope divers could be more responsible and cautious with the way they dive.

Lastly, I really need to quickly end this blog post so I could go and finish up the last bit of packing and then we have to hop on the boat to leave Seaventures.

I will upload photos when I get back to Singapore because we will be having a busy day rafting tomorrow!

Here's a photo of the rig just for your information. And yes, we stayed (are staying till 10am) here.

Another lovely launch

The last two weeks had been for me.
  1. We were very busy preparing three launches in advance because after CNY I, I will be away during CNY II and Celeste will be away for one Feb launch. So, it was really crazy trying to get three launches prepared! But it's definitely worth it! Our CNY I took off really well. And we are really touched.
  2. Since I am going away from today, my company is forcing me to submit tasks on hands before my leaves. Ok. "Force" is a harsh word. Basically, I have to finish up a couple of projects, because the moment I return from my trip, it will be CNY. So, the company sees me as going away for three weeks. Though, the holidays will only last me 2 weeks. I got so busy that I almost fell sick again - that swell in the lymph node came back! Freaked me out!!! But it got better after a good sleep.
  3. Finally! Today's the day. I am going to Sabah! I am going to conquer the mountain, dive the sea and do white water rafting. I think I am  repeating. I can't help it! I am really anticipating this trip. Can't wait!
And, I always love our own clothes.

Here is what I have gotten myself for the upcoming launch.

I am eyeing these below. My favourites.

This is what I called The Alamode Dress. Alamode means stylish. The design is inspired by Zara. And I love the patterns - make the dress look more interesting and not your usual smooth texture dress. It looks like a designer piece with really good material. Very well made and on top of that, it has a good cut. The only downside is, it may be pretty short for the taller girls. For me, it's ok. I am quite used to wearing short dresses and skirts anyway. Haha.

You won't believe it. This dress is a very flattering piece. The moment I put it on, I look slimmer! Haha. And its material is so soft and comfortable that you will really enjoy wearing it.

This is one sophisticated piece. It is not tight like bodycon. It is stretchable and easy to fit in. Very pretty dress!

I love this piece. This piece is so Chinese New Year! Haha. I love the hand sewn beads. They show alot of dedication and sincerity put into the sewing. On top of that, it comes in the IN colour of the season - Olive.

And I love this shot. Btw, I was the photographer. My Baby had been busy travelling. But, I think it's very fun and we are more in control of what we want. Winnie also seems more relaxed and natural with Celeste and me around only.

Lastly, here's a preview to our next launch (19 Jan, Wed @ 8pm)

Random Updates

1. I have been very busy since the first day of work. Why? Because suddenly people realised I am going away and the pressure increased for me due to deadlines being moved to coming Friday. Almost fell sick again last night. But quickly turned in and was ok today. Really need my vits. MUST NOT FALL SICK again!!!

2. I can't wait for my trip! I am going to conquer 4,095m above sea level's Mt Kinabalu, dive Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai again (oh! beautiful sea, I can't wait to be embrace by you again! And oh all your lovely sea creatures.) and do a grade 4/5 white water rafting! How adventurous and fun! Totally looking forward.

3. Can't wait for Chinese New Year! Love this time of the year to be able to gather with family and friends and find all excuses to meet up with them, especially to play MJ!

4. I love so many of our Moda Shoppe's Chinese New Year collections. So happy to have pretty clothes for Chinese New Year. The launch is on 11 Jan, Tues, 8pm.

5. I still have pictures to upload on FB! Will do them. Ha. And maybe blog about a couple of them. Maybe... during CNY? Since I should be quite free if I don't get to MJ.

6. Baby is KL. I will be missing him so. God, bless him a safe journey.
